10:19PM - stretched like a rubberband

I find it doesn't get much better than to do be able to do all the things you love and are passionate about all at the same time. The only flipside is there's not much room for anyone or anything else. Lots of stuff is just going.. perhaps a little (or a lot) half-ass. I picked up my guitar this afternoon after all my callouses have disappeared and realized my fingers are not what they used to a month ago.. yup, only a month! But i was able to play a few verses of "Collide" :)

That and sleep really gets put on the back burner. Our good friend's brother who passed away last december hung out with the hubby this weekend. I'm guessing it was bittersweet. At the same time, its amazing because we wouldn't have gotten to really know him or his gf if tragedy hadn't struck either. Makes me really ponder about the reasons for life and all the difficult part of it. Good thing God's around. Help me to praise you through it all Lord ..

12:10AM - happy fall, .. almost

post vacation work is never fun. but i found something nurturing and comfortable about my cube - does that sound sad? and its always true that while you're gone, nothing really happens but it feels like you've been gone for months and you must've missed some huge news during that time. but ah.. the good 'ol work life.. checked email for 2.. maybe 2 and a half, 1 and a half for lunch.. and then another couple hours chit-chatting at the new water cooler. whew.. the new one's a beauty.

does anyone know the weather this time of year at yosemite? calling weather man..

3:25PM - the end of my not-so-vacationy-vacation

you know when you come back from a vacation and you feel like you need another one? that is just exactly how i feel now. back to work tomorrow :( .. twas nice the first couple days off. but as i didn't really go anywhere, thinking i could completely veg and rest at home, which i LOVE -i heart house!, i now understand why people don't take vacations at home. good thing i'll have another couple weeks by the end of the year, that is unless we get some bad news at work (fingers crossed!, for the bad news :P)

but oh well. i did get to sleep in almost everyday and catch The View, GH, and Ellen,.. i love abc. for some reason i just can't bring myself to tivo any of those shows tho. maybe Ellen.. but overall, i don't think i'd ever be in the mood to watch them like 9 at night. well.. perhaps i can just record every friday and monday.. when the real kickers happen (esp. for the soaps). caught up on some movie rentals, and finally got all my doctor visits out of the way. seeing as the company i work for might very soon go bye-bye, i'm gonna make sure i get as much out of blue cross as i can (knock on wood).

and i do have my last hoorah.. my manicure, pedicure, & facial this afternoon. and then i also went to the Giants and niner games with tickets i got from tixtrade - that place is awesome btw, beats craigslist in a heartbeat. fun, fun.. but oh, too much sun! and played some good rounds with my new Alpha C830.2 driver, ! i really can't wait for the fall though. 90 degrees at 11am is just too much for me, even though i'm used to So Cal valley weather. ready to bust out my fall clothes that i bought from last year's end of fall sales :P.

ooh.. just remembered Labor Day is coming up! yay!!! super-yay!!! another day off for moi. can't wait!
